Natalie Shepherd

Natalie Shepherd joined the News Channel 8 team in June 2007.

Natalie comes to Tampa from WWMT-TV in Kalamazoo, Michigan. While there she was honored by the Michigan Chapter of NATAS with a regional EMMY award for her reporting on an experimental stem cell treatment to repair spinal cord injuries.

Natalie started her reporting career at WILX-TV in Lansing, Michigan in November 2002. She received her Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Kalamazoo College.

Before starting her career as a broadcast journalist, Natalie spent several years working for an advertising agency in Chicago. She's also spent time living in England and Germany.

When she's not out working, Natalie enjoys running, reading, cooking and checking out the Bay Area's great beaches.
