Jennifer Hill

You can catch Jennifer on the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekend newscasts. Jennifer first discovered how interesting weather forecasting could be while earning her degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara. That's also where she learned to appreciate the beach. Jennifer then earned her Broadcast Meteorology Degree from Mississippi State University.

Her first TV job was forecasting lots of winter snow in the ski town of Bend, Oregon, for KTVZ-TV. There, she traded beach life for mountain life and spent a lot of weekends on the slopes. The next stop in Jennifer's career was the mountains of North Carolina at Asheville's WLOS. There, she honed her skills forecasting all kinds of weather, from snowstorms to severe thunderstorms and even hurricanes.

Now part of the WFLA Storm Team, she holds the AMS seal of approval and enjoys the converged WFLA environment. When not at work covering severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, she's back to appreciating the beach on her days off.

As many of you know, Jennifer and her husband are the proud parents of Charles Scott, who was born earlier this year. They also have a lab-mix named Travis, a rescue from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
