Claudia DoCampo

Claudia DoCampo joined WFLA in July of 2005 as the Hernando county bureau chief and reporter. Claudia also covers Pasco and Citrus counties for the afternoon newscasts.

Before making Florida her home, Claudia spent three-and-a-half years in Milwaukee, Wis. as a bilingual reporter for the local CBS and Telemundo affiliates. Claudia began her broadcasting career at Bloomberg Television and Radio Headquarters in New York City, as a producer/anchor/reporter. She then worked as an associate producer for Court-TV, later moving to News12 Networks as a reporter/anchor.

Claudia is an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and also enjoys covering stories in the Hispanic community.

Claudia was born in Argentina and grew up in California, Florida and New York City. She graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn with a degree in Media Studies. Claudia now lives in Spring Hill and enjoys the many outdoor activities available on the Nature Coast.
