Lynn Carson

A big fan of Florida, Lynn Carson came to the Tampa Bay area in 2004 after covering one too many snowstorms in the northeast.

She worked at the NBC station in Connecticut when the Governor closed down the state for days after getting hit with over three feet of snow.

The following year, in April, 2004, Lynn joined News Channel 8 as a general assignment reporter. She has covered hurricanes, presidential visits and murder investigations.

A graduate of Ohio University, Lynn has worked in Albany, Georia, Huntsville, Alabama and her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

When she is not at work there is a good chance you will find Lynn enjoying the sunshine and walking with her dogs, Amberliene and Kailey.
