GOLF WITH GARY is a new half hour television program hosted by six time PGA Tour winner and NBC SPORTS golf analyst, Gary Koch.

Golf demographics today are broader than they've ever been. Ratings are up. People from all walks of life are genuinely interested in the game. The time is right for a new kind of golf show and by design, GOLF WITH GARY is targeted to attract that broader market. From day one, concept and production planning efforts have been focused on creating a quality program capable of attracting a large and loyal following. Here's how.

First of all, our host is Gary Koch, a world class player and veteran TV broadcaster. Before turning professional in 1975, Gary enjoyed a brilliant amateur career that included state, collegiate, national and international titles. As a professional, he won six-times throughout his 14 year PGA Tour career. Since 1990, Gary has become an accomplished golf course designer and popular TV golf analyst, first on ESPN and now currently on NBC Sports. Gary will play in about 20 Champions Tour events this year.

Second, GOLF WITH GARY is a fast paced, visual show with four definitive segments covering a wide range of topics, yet maintaining continuity and a comfort of familiarity for viewers.

The first of these definitive segments is an important and educational one, a "2 Minute Lesson" with on of America's Top 100 Teachers, John Elliott. John has extensive experience in front of the camera. He is creative, articulate and has a knack for teaching golf in a visually stimulating way.

The second segment is the show's most informative because it's actually a 5 to 7 minute expose on important aspects of the game that oftentimes don't get the publicity or exposure they deserve.

The third segment presents human-interest stories that will cause viewers to sit in wonderment, re-evaluate their own inner drive or just warm their hearts.

Each show closes with "Looking Back", a segment that showcases the drama of a PGA Tour event from a decade or more ago; one that has become a distant, yet indelible memory for avid followers of the game, and a source of keen interest for newcomers to see current Champions Tour players in their prime.
