3 men dead in Dallas apartment shootings; motive unclear

DALLAS (AP) — Police in Dallas say three men have died in a shooting at an apartment complex.

Patrol officers responded Saturday afternoon to the complex in northeast Dallas on reports of shots that were fired.

Authorities say they initially could not find any indication of a disturbance but an officer eventually was given the number of an apartment where shots were heard.

Two men were found in a front room dead of gunshot wounds. Police say a third man was found in a back room also dead from gunshots.

Authorities have not identified the men and did not indicate a motive for the shooting.
