Victim speaks after man in Largo steals cash from him, beats him up

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – The victim of a theft at Walmart is speaking out after a man stole his paycheck out of his hands on Tuesday.

It was a shocking stunt on a typical day.

Charles Reynolds, 59, was trying to cash a check for $350.

“He just politely reached around and snatched it right off the counter. I mean right next to the register,” Reynolds said of the thief.

Chad Alves-Cardoso, 26, stole the money off of the counter.

News Channel 8’s Gabrielle Shirley has much more with the victim in the video above.
