SharkCon

SharkCon is an event that brings those who love the ocean together for a weekend of education and the fun of a Comic Con. SharkCon has something for everyone who loves the ocean. We have a huge interactive exhibit from our presenting sponsor The Florida Aquarium. Also, Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium. Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Busch Gardens, and USF are going to have interactive exhibits. The 22 foot shark slide will be back and the pirate ship bounce house. The Go Dive NOW pool will be there for those who want to try scuba. WE have 15 Conversation groups on site telling people how to be a force for conservation including: Sharks4Kids, The Sea Shepard Conservation Society, Tampa Bay Watch, NECWA, Conversation Ocean, Fins Attached, Finformation, and more. There are speakers this year including our headline speakers  Anthony Ferrante the director of the Sharknado movies, and Eli Martinez from several Shark Week specials. All of our speakers will also be available for FREE autographs and photo opportunities after their presentations. Everything listed above is included in the price of admission. We also have over 100 booths of vendors that are shark, scuba, marine art, and more.

The goal behind SharkCon is to raise awareness for ocean conservation by bringing the general public and inspiring them to protect the oceans and the sharks that live in them through interactions with experts, exhibits, and artists. We know education is the key to ensure the health of the oceans for generations to come.
