Surgical Reality

Surgical Reality is a new technology that provides personalized 360-degree virtual images of the anatomy. Surgeons at Florida Hospital Tampa are using this technology to educate patients and gain an understanding of the anatomy to improve surgical precision.  Florida Hospital Tampa is the only hospital in the Southeast to have this technology, and the only hospital in the world to have used it on the pancreas.  Historically it has only been used for neurological uses.
