Paralympic Hopeful

In 2007, Leo Rodgers struck a guardrail on Fowler Avenue and wound up in the Tampa Bypass Canal. He lost a leg but didn’t give up on life. He started cycling. The 32-year-old recently competed in California in the U.S. Paralympics Track Cycling Open. His sights are set on representing the United States at the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo.
