ARLINGTON, Texas  (AP) –  After having their 11-game win streak snapped last week by the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys took it out on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Cowboys raced out to a 17-6 halftime lead and snapped Tampa Bay’s five-game win streak, 26-20.

Dan Bailey booted four field goals. Ezekiel Elliott ran 23 times for 159 yards and one TD. Fellow rookie QB Dak Prescott was very efficient, completing 32 of 36 yards for 279 yards.

The victory raises the Cowboys record to 12-2. The Bucs fall to 8-6 in a costly loss in their hunt for a playoff berth in the NFC.

Tampa Bay (8-6) travel to New Orleans next week before finishing the season at home against the Carolina Panthers.
