ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – A Clearwater man is accused of stealing another man’s clothes and possessions during an armed robbery in St. Petersburg.

Armed with a handgun, Pinellas deputies say Christopher Wright, 26, robbed a man in the 3000 block of 40th Avenue North in St. Petersburg on Oct. 23. That’s when Wright knocked the male victim unconscious, and with the help of another man, Daijion Drayton, began taking off the victim’s clothes until he was naked.

Authorities say the duo took the victim’s cell phone and clothes before leaving the scene.

PCSO arrested Wright over the weekend in connection with the case. Deputies have not yet arrested or charged Drayton. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
