Pasco teen charged with murder after Sept. home invasion that left victim dead

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – A Pasco County teenager has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a September home invasion.

Alexander Perez, 14, had previously been charged with home invasion robbery.

Officials say he hit an elderly victim and took his wallet and pants. The 81-year-old victim, Robert Walker, died later that day. It happened in Holiday on Devonshire Drive.

Perez knew Walker, Pasco County Sheriff’s Office deputies said Friday. Perez has been in custody since the Sept. 23.
