Why Do Some People Never Get Sick? Bradenton Cardiologist Dr. Srini Iyengar is here to talk about why some people weem to never get sick while it seems others are sick all the time?

Researchers know that people have weakened immune systems if they suffer from chronic conditions, such as diabetes, or engage in poor behaviors, such as smoking. Some people are simply healthier than others. People who lead healthier lifestyles are less likely to become ill and it is a milder illness when they do get sick.

Another reason people don’t get sick? Constant exposure to the over 200 different kinds of cold viruses, for example, builds up their immunity.

It is said that pediatricians are some of the healthiest people around. Why? They are exposed to all those germs during their training.
