SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – A Sarasota man was arrested Monday on charges of voyeurism stemming from October incidents inside of a Walmart store.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said the incidents happened at the store on Cattlemen Road.
The victim reported the incident to officers, alleging a man kneeled down next to her and looked up her skirt on two separate occasions in October.
Video surveillance of the incidents was retrieved by Walmart loss prevention workers.
In the video, a man is observed keeling down behind the victim and looking up her skirt. The man walks away, then returns and looks up the woman’s skirt a second time.
The victim said she saw the same man from the incident a week later and told police he kneeled down to look at items on a lower shelf and allegedly looked up her skirt once again.
Police identified the suspect by his debit/credit card information after he paid for items.
Alan Ralph, 62, was arrested after the victim identified him in a photo lineup.
Ralph faces two charges of voyeurism.
