CRIMEA PENINSULA (WFLA) — Zoo workers in Crimea are hand feeding and caring for three male white tiger cubs after their mother refused to feed them.
The cubs are named after the three musketeers in a historical novel by Alexandre Dumas – Athos, Aramis, Porthos. They were recently born at the zoo in Yalta, to parents Tigryulia and Patris.
Their mother, Tigryulia, was presented to the zoo by former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in 2009 after eleven animals were poisoned that year.
