Alert issued for missing Bradenton woman

Dwyer, 58, sent a text message to her mother late Friday.

BRADENTON, Fl. (WFLA) – Authorities in Manatee County have issued an alert for a missing Bradenton woman.

Diane Dwyer sent a text message to her mother late Friday night and has not been seen or heard from since.

According to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report the 58-year-old woman has a history of mental illness and has not been taking her medication. Her residence is located in the 6000 block of 34th St. West in Bradenton.

Investigators say Dwyer made be driving a 2009 Hyundai two-door hatchback, gray in color – Florida tag 148 2BZ. If you have seen the vehicle or have any other information on the missing woman’s whereabouts, please call 9-1-1 or contact MCSO at 941-747-3011.
