Sarasota deputies locate missing woman

UPDATE: The Sarasota Sheriff’s Office reports Anne Yeatts has been located.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing endangered person. On Dec. 1 at approximately 9:00 p.m. Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a missing endangered woman from the 23000 block of Copperleaf Drive in Venice.

The companion of the missing subject stated that Ms. Yeatts left in her vehicle as approximately 4:00 p.m. to go to the grocery store. Ms. Yeatts suffers from dementia.

The initial area was searched but yielded negative results. Yeatts is travelling in a 2004 light metallic green Ford Thunderbird convertible, with the Florida tag DXMQ15.

A Silver Alert was initiated.
