Adopt a pet for $20 this December; find perfect addition Saturday at Tampa event

According to Santa’s list, the pets at Hillsborough County’s Pet Resource Center have been very good this year and are ready to go home for the holidays. Stop by the First Saturday Celebration on Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to find the perfect addition to your family. Throughout December, every adopted pet goes home with a stocking full of treats and a personalized ID tag.

The Pet Resource Center is the county’s animal shelter. It is located at 440 N. Falkenburg Road in Tampa.

The Pet Resource Center will offer $20 December adoptions for all ready-to-go pets, a deal which includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchip with free registration, and Hillsborough County pet license tag.

The Dec. 3 First Saturday Celebration also will feature:

  • refreshments and music
  • special guests, exhibitors, rescue partners, and foster pets ready for adoption
  • free parking and admission provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
