NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in Tennessee is now very rich.
A winning Powerball ticket worth $420.9 million was sold in Lafayette, Tennessee lottery officials said Sunday.
The winning ticket in Saturday’s drawing matched all six Powerball numbers.
The winning numbers selected were 17, 19, 21, 37, 44, with the Powerball 16.
The jackpot soared to a reported $420.9 million on Saturday due to last-minute ticket-buying.
The prize is paid out over 30 years, with the option of a lump sum payment, which officials said would add up to about $254.7 million.
Saturday’s jackpot was the second largest Powerball prize in Tennessee lottery history, after a family in Munford won $528 million in January.
The winner has yet to come forward and claim their prize.
