PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – The Tampa Premium Outlets shopping mall was packed with shoppers beginning Thanksgiving night and into Black Friday morning.
The special deals kept shoppers busy.
“Going back and forth to car and just drop off bags there,” said Musa Alawazzen, who enjoyed the Black Friday shopping.
He tells News Channel 8 he spent more than $2,000 on Christmas gifts.
Three sisters from Hillsborough County started their shopping spree around 9:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
We caught up with them nine hours later, as they strolled through the outlets.
They enjoy the family time over the discounts.
“We do this every year as a memory maker,” Cindy Wright said. “Us and our mom. We’re crazy like that,” she laughed.
At the Starbucks coffee shop, Amanda Sage manned the busy counter overnight.
The line was filled with die-hard shoppers looking for a pick-me-up.
“You just got to have a positive attitude cause they’ll have a positive attitude,” she said about the customers.
The outlets close at 10 p.m. on Black Friday, a spokeswoman said.
