SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – If you’re a fan of all things 1970s, then we have a house for you.

A $4.35 million waterfront home for sale on Bird Key in Sarasota will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.

“This house has a charming elegance that must be seen to fully appreciate and has been meticulously maintained for 40 years,” said a Coldwell Banker Realty spokesperson.

The mid-century modern home was built in 1974 and features Formica countertops, Ruth Richmond acrylic doorknobs, foil wallpaper and Astroturf on the lanai.

How groovy is that?

Other mid-century modern design elements in the home include an open floor plan with an indoor-outdoor flow. The living room sliders open up to the expansive lanai, which features a wooden beam ceiling, pool and fountain.

The 3,809 square-foot home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms and features 233-feet of Sarasota Bay frontage. The master bedroom has two private outdoor terraces.  The 25,895-square-foot lot is one of the largest available on Bird Key and also has a dock with a boat lift. The home is located at 554 South Spoonbill Drive.
