(WFLA) – The SPCA Florida shared the photos and stories of four animals looking for forever homes. Let’s get these sweet dogs and cats – and as many shelter and rescue animals as possible – adopted before the holidays.

Also, check with local rescues and other shelters. Let’s find local dogs and cats a place to snuggle this holiday season.

Here are the four pets the SPCA shared Monday:

Freckles

  • Age: 6 years old
  • Weight: 53.2 pounds
  • Breed: Bulldog/Mix – White/Liver
  • Orphaned Since: November 2016
  • Adoption Fee: $100

“She is a sweet girl whose owner unfortunately passed away. Freckles is scared at the shelter as she does not know what is happening. Away from the kennel, Freckles enjoys car rides, relaxing with her human, rolling in the grass and walks,” the SPCA said.

Ginger

  • Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback/Mix – Red/White

“She is a sweet girl who has been left behind many times when previous owners have had changes in their lives, leaving her to find a new home on her own. Ginger is a sweet, calm and protective girl who is better with small dogs and cats than large dogs but does like large dogs if the introduction is done right. Ginger also loves kids and anyone who is willing to love on her,” the SPCA said.
