There’s a new movie that critics are going crazy over. It’s called “Moonlight” and one of its producers is none other than Brad Pitt. It’s already getting plenty of Oscar Buzz. It’s a coming-of-age tale that follows three distinct periods in the life of a character named Chiron, in the rough streets of urban Miami. The film, among other things, has been praised for its portrayal of Chiron’s struggle with his sexuality, and the way it tackles the issue of black masculinity. Mahershala Ali, who’s known for his role on “House of Cards” stars as Juan, a drug dealer with a good heart. Cyndi and Jerry have a one-on-one interview with him.
