Weight Watchers recalls cookie dough ice cream dessert

(WFLA) — Weight Watchers is recalling their Smart Ones Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sundae frozen desserts due to possible Listeria contamination from the cookie dough.

The FDA says Aspen Hills, the supplier of the cookie dough pieces, reported positive test results for Listeria. There have been no reports of illness related to this recall to date.

The recall is for approximately 100,000 cases of the four-pack Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sundae desserts in the U.S. No other Weight Watchers Smart Ones products are included in this recall.

Consumers who purchased this product should not eat it. They should return it to the store where purchased for an exchange or full refund. Consumers can also contact 1-866-572-3805.
