Disaster Recovery Center coming to Manatee County for Hermine relief

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (WFLA) — With the disaster assistance registration deadline for Hurricane Hermine a few weeks away, a FEMA/State Disaster Recovery Center is opening in Manatee County to bring information about available state and federal assistance.

The DRC will be open from Thursday November 10th through Saturday November 12th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at G.T. Bray Park, located at 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West in Bradenton.

DRCs are staffed with representatives from FEMA, Florida Division of Emergency Management and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). You can receive help applying for federal disaster assistance, learn about the types of assistance available, learn about the appeals process and obtain updates regarding your application.
