CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) – Clearwater police are asking for help identifying a man who is believed to have robbed three stores over the last week. During one robbery, the man was armed with a knife and jumped on a counter in a frightening confrontation with store clerks.

The Clearwater Police Department released surveillance video of that robbery. On Sunday morning, the man robbed the 7-Eleven located at 1898 N. Highland Ave. The robber jumped on the counter and took money from the cash register.

Later that night, investigators say he robbed the Walmart at U.S. 19 and Northeast Coachman Road.  Police released a surveillance photo from that robbery, which happened around 10:42 p.m.

Detectives think he’s the same man who robbed the Walmart Neighborhood Market located at 1803 N. Highland Ave. on Oct. 28. During that robbery he implied that he had a gun. Cash was also taken during this robbery.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or Middle Eastern male, about 6 feet tall, with a slender build and light facial hair. He may have left the last crime scene in a white Toyota.
