Florida Amendment 3 passes: Tax Exemptions for Disabled First Responders

(WFLA) – First responders permanently disabled in the line of duty will receive property tax exemptions under Amendment 3, which passed Tuesday night. The measure is called the Florida Tax Exemptions for Disabled First Responders Amendment.

At present, according to Ballotpedia, these property tax breaks only apply to spouses of first responders or military members killed in the line of duty.
