BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Two precinct clerks, a Democrat and a Republican, were fired in Broward County on Election Day.
NBC Miami is reporting that police responded to a call about complaints of voter intimidation at a Pompano Beach polling location. The complaints led to a dispute between clerks who represent precincts 23 and 24.
The Supervisor of Elections was notified about the dispute and she fired both clerks. The clerks had to leave the polling location immediately.
The incident happened at the Herb Skolknick Community Center.
