JAPAN (WFLA) — A team of Japanese scientists said they have created a new way to lose weight.
Researchers at the University of Tokyo said Virtual Reality headsets can be used as diet goggles.
The scientists who created the goggles claimed the device can trick your senses to reduce your appetite, make low-fat foods taste better and alter your perception of portion size.
The system uses interactive computer graphic techniques to virtually increase the size of a food item.
According to the inventor, the system is able to reduce the amount of food a person eats by 10 percent.
