Red Hot Chili Peppers announce Tampa concert

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) – Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming to Tampa.

The band announced additional spring dates on their 2017 North American Tour in support of their 11th studio album, the worldwide No. 1 The Getaway. The tour will now make a stop in Tampa at Amalie Arena on April 27, 2017 at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the Tampa show go on sale Friday, November 11 at 10 a.m.

The Getaway Tour kicks off January 5, 2017, in San Antonio, TX, and crisscrosses North America through mid-March. A spring leg of the tour has been added, which begins April 12 in Washington, DC. A fan club ticket pre-sale for the new shows launches on November 9. Tickets go on sale to the general public on November 11. Every ticket purchased includes a choice of a standard physical or standard digital copy of The Getaway.
