3 quick ways to freshen your makeup after a long day

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — After working a long and busy day, it’s tough to rush straight to dinner or an evening event and feel like you’re looking your best.

News Channel 8’s Lila Gross found a makeup expert who shares her secrets for looking great in just minutes.

Make-up artist Ashlee Ann said taking your look from day to night is quite simple with three easy steps. Another huge bonus is you only need to carry a couple small extra things with you to work.

Bronzer: This should be your go-to product to always carry with you. Ashlee Ann recommends for quick night-time touchups to add bronzer to your cheekbone lines, going from your ear to the center of your cheek.

You can also use this sunkissed gem with a fluffy eye shadow brush. Add it to the corners of your eyes, sweeping it across your crease for a more dramatic and smokey eye night time look.

Highlighter: Highlighter is an underrated product that can add life to your face after a long day. Apply it sparingly to the very top of your cheekbones and a tap on the tip of your nose. Huge bonus: this look “lifts” your face so you’ll also look younger.

Bold Lip Color: Pick a fun, bold lip color and always have it on hand. Apply it as you’re leaving the office and boom, a whole new you is ready for some night time fun.
