St. Pete teen discovers grandmother, great-grandmother dead in apparent murder-suicide

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – A teenager returning from the store discovered her grandmother and great-grandmother dead after an apparent murder-suicide in St. Petersburg, Sunday morning.

According to police, a 19-year-old female returned home in the 5500 block of 17th Way South and discovered her grandmother and great-grandmother both dead from apparent gunshot wounds. The teen made the horrible discovery around 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
