LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla — A new nighttime projection show is making its debut this month at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

“Once Upon A Time” was projected on Cinderella’s Castle for the first time on Nov. 4.

According to the Disney Parks blog, the new show has Mrs. Potts from “Beauty and the Beast” sharing bedtime stories with Chip, the teacup from the same film. The projection show will include scenes from “Cinderella,” “Peter Pan,” “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.”

“Once Upon A Time,” which is inspired by a show at the Tokyo Disneyland Park, uses projection mapping to cover “every nook and cranny” of Cinderella’s Castle to create images that appear three-dimensional, according to the Disney Parks blog.

“Once Upon A Time” replaces “Celebrate the Magic,” the former show projected on the castle. “Celebrate the Magic” had its last show on Nov. 3. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
