Jon Bon Jovi to perform in St. Pete at Hillary Clinton event

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Jon Bon Jovi will perform at the State Theatre in St. Petersburg on Saturday, Nov. 5 to show his support for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton as part of Clinton’s “Love Trumps Hate” performance series.

The Hillary Clinton campaign on Wednesday released details to supporters about this Saturday’s Jon Bon Jovi concert. Democratic vice presidential nominee and U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine will also be at the event.

People who want to attend will need to register on the Clinton campaign website.

Doors open at 6 p.m. A paper ticket is required for entry.

The State Theatre seats 705 people, according to its website. The Clinton campaign has not said how many tickets will be distributed.

For those who register, free tickets can be picked up on a first-come, first-serve basis between the hours of 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3 and Friday, Nov. 4 at the following locations:

  • South St. Petersburg Staging Location: 833 22nd Ave St S., St. Petersburg, FL 33705
  • Tequila’s Mexican Grille & Cantina: 401 S Ft Harrison Ave, Clearwater, FL 33756

Only one ticket per person will be issued.

The State Theatre is located at 687 Central Ave. in St. Pete.
