OCALA, Fla. (WESH) — Marion County authorities are searching for a 2-year-old boy who was taken by his parents after a judge placed him in state custody.
Kage Cassidy was last seen with his parents, Phillip Cassidy and Lisa White, at an apartment in the Whispering Sands complex in Ocala on Wednesday.
On Friday, a judge issued an order to “take into custody” for Kage because it is believed there is a “significant rise to harm” to the child because of his parents’ drug use.
Cassidy and White were last seen driving a 1999 Dodge Caravan, Florida license 406-5US.
Anyone with information on Kage’s whereabouts should call 911.
