Pinellas County to test voting equipment, open to the public

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA)—On Wednesday, voters in Pinellas County will be able to get a behind-the-scenes look at the testing of election equipment.

The Elections Canvassing Board will meet at 10 a.m. to test the voting machines This is the second pre-election test of the high speed mail ballot tabulation equipment, which is tested to verify that it is tabulating the ballots correctly.

This is open to the public to watch in an observation area, especially for those who feel the system, machines or election is rigged or there’s some type of fraud.

The testing will take place at the Pinellas County Election Service Center which is located at 13001 Starkey Road in Largo.
