Michelle C. is a seasoned media and public relations professional with over eight years combined experience in both fields. As a news producer in Charlotte, North Carolina, she covered hurricanes, the Wachovia and Wells Fargo buyout, and the live rescue of the 33 Chilean miners. She was responsible for the writing, editing and formatting of up to three hour long shows including directors, talent and various crew to get the show on-air without error. She moved into a PR role earning close to $200,000 in media hits for all four of her clients, in addition to creating collateral to further the exposure of each client. Under her direction, the company landed several on-air interviews in key markets targeting new customers, expanded social media reach and created tutorials for the growing YouTube channel. She joined the National Forensic Science Technology Center as a communication specialist in 2014. Michelle graduated magna cum laude from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Journalism.
