New Weather Page features your most requested options

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Earlier this month, we launched Max Defender 8, the most powerful weather radar in the world.

Over the past several months, we’ve been listening to your incredible feedback about what you love on our weather page, but we’ve also heard you on areas we could improve when it comes to delivering you the best weather experience on desktop and mobile.

We’re happy to say, we’re heard you and we couldn’t be happier to tell you we’re implementing some of your most requested weather features. We think you’re going to love the changes.

You wanted an easy to see 7-day forecast. You wanted it to give you a perspective for the week in a single glance. You got it. Storm Team 8 is ‘On Your Side’  with a redesigned Weather Page on Bookmark the link so you can visit it from your desktop computer, laptop or cell phone. It features an easy to use 7-Day Forecast that lets you see the high and low temperatures each day, along with the chance of rain. One screen to help you plan for the week.

You wanted to know things like sunrise and sunset, humidity and wind. No problem. If you want more info for a particular day, just click on the temperature bar and you’ll get additional details like the UV Index, Humidity Level, Wind, Sunrise, Sunset and more.

You told us you would love to be able to see how what the next 48-72 hours would impact your day. We’re checking this request off too. What’s really cool about the redesigned Weather Page is you can now see the Storm Team 8 Hourly Forecast that lists weather conditions on the hour, over a 3-day period. This is super helpful for busy families who are planning outdoor activities.

If you want more details about a particular hour, just click on the temperature bar.

You asked if we could give you a quick video forecast to help you out the door. You requested that we update that throughout the day with short, quick, on the go type video updates to keep you informed throughout the day on what the weather may be doing outside “right now.” You asked that these videos help you plan for “what’s next” in the weather forecast that could impact your lunch, business meetings, children’s after school practices and your ride home for dinner with the family. We totally understand, and we’re pleased to say this version of Today’s Forecast with Storm Team 8 Meteorologists, is all about keeping you informed. Anytime. Anywhere.  If you are really short on time you can read a summary. It’s all up to you!
