(WFLA) – A team of veterinarians in Zimbabwe rescued a wild rhinoceros Saturday after the animal got a tire stuck over its snout. NBC shared a video of this rescue this weekend.
NBC reported citing British broadcaster SkyNews that the tire had been dumped in a watering hole at Lake Chivero Recreational Park.
The rhino, known as “Mark” by the park workers, was unable to eat or drink after the tire got stuck over his snout.
Park rangers alerted veterinarians from the Aware Trust charity. They came and tranquilized the rhino and then removed the tire.
