Deputies: Holiday drive-by shooting not random act

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – A drive-by shooting at a Holiday neighborhood was not a random act, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting happened outside a residence located at 5203 Tammy Lane. According to PCSO, a suspect in a four-door sedan stopped in front of the home and shot a gun at the people who were standing there.

The car went east on Tammy Lane after the shooting and several additional shots were fired. A few victims fled the scene before deputies arrived.

According to PCSO, no injuries were reported but this was not a random act. Detectives are working to identify the suspect and find out if there was somebody else in the car.

The neighborhood check revealed that a second house on the block had damage from a bullet.
