LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. (WFLA) – The owner of the ‘topless truck’ reached out to our reporter Meredith Censullo after we posted a photo of his exotic vehicle on our Facebook page.
Meredith said she took this photo several years ago in Land O’ Lakes. Her Twitter followers enjoyed the picture so we posted it on our Facebook page asking our viewers to caption it.
The photo reached more than 51,000 people including the owner of the truck. Dennis A. Diaz said he loved the truck, and misses it a lot after selling it. He thanked us for posting the photo, hoping it would bring a smile to everyone’s day.
Here’s a better picture of my old girl when she was all cleaned up, I miss that truck soooo much!!! To all of you who are whining and crying about “a news channel making fun of someone”, I think that it is awesome that me and my truck made the news and I am sitting on my couch laughing hysterically to all of the funny captions people are coming up with, thank you all so much! And to news channel 8, thank you for putting the picture up and sharing my joy with the world! I absolutely loved this truck until the day I sold it, and it puts a smile in my heart to know that me and my awesome truck can bring a smile to everyone’s day 😄 I have a few other pictures of it hanging around on my phone still, if you want to see them just let me know and I’ll post them up. Believe it or not, ALL of the electronics still worked just fine, regardless of being rained on and hosed down every time we took it out mudding… I know, it blew my mind too that the entire dash could be directly hosed down and all of the electronics kept working! Lol!
He gave us a better photo of the vehicle and we are happy to share it with you.
