Lakeland girl still missing, seen in Georgia with man

POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI and FDLE are still working to find 4-year-old Rebecca Lewis.

She was last seen around 9 a.m. yesterday when her 16-year-old sister saw her sleeping in her bed. The sister fell back asleep and when she woke up at 9:45 a.m., the little girl was gone. The family searched frantically for the girl and called police around 11 a.m.

Investigators say she is with 31-year-old West Hogs. Hogs is a long-time family friend but he has been out of the picture for the last year or so. He showed up on Friday to Rebecca’s grandmother’s house, Oma Mae Lewis, in Polk City.

According to WRBL in Columbus, GA, citing local law enforcement, Hogs may be headed to Russell County. The Seale native has a hunting trailer in Russell County as well.
