Man’s body found floating in lake in St. Pete park

SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – A body was found floating in a St. Petersburg lake Saturday morning, according to St. Pete Police Department.

Authorities say a man who appeared to be in his 60s was found floating in a lake along the northern shoreline at Booker Creek Park just after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Responders were able to pull the man out of the water but pronounced him dead at the scene.
