Vehicle found submerged in water in Pinellas County

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputies found a submerged vehicle in Boca Ciega Bay on Saturday morning.

PCSO received a call at 7:13 a.m. of a vehicle in the water near the intersection of Gulfport Boulevard and Pasadena Avenue in South Pasadena. The U.S. Coast Guard and Pinellas dive teams were dispatched to the area. They were able to find the vehicle and pull it out of the water.

The Jeep Liberty had a broken rear window. No one was inside. Crews continue to investigate the incident.
