HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Hillsborough County firefighters shared adorable footage Tuesday after a Dalmatian mix puppy made its way to the station.

The puppy entered into the station around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. It followed an engine returning from a call.

“He eagerly made himself part of the crew,” a spokesperson said.

The pup’s family was found later Tuesday. “Here’s a great update! The Dalmatian that walked into Station 5 has been reunited with his owner! His name is Chico,” a fire department spokesperson said. “We are all so happy for a happy ending to this story!”
