TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — People who work on the front lines with expectant mothers learned the very latest information about the Zika Virus at a special conference Friday in Tampa.
Right now, there are 732 cases of the Zika virus in Florida, although not all are pregnant women.
“We have educational resources for our providers, who serve more than 12,000 pregnant women annually with a multitude of services to help them have healthy babies,” she added.
The Florida Zika Hotline, which is1-855-622-6735 was established in February 2016. It has managed more than 5,600 calls.
