Barber goes out of his way to accommodate man in wheelchair

BROCKTON, Mass. (WFLA) – A barber went out of his way to help a man in a wheelchair look his best. The photo of the barber’s act of kindness is circulating social media with commenters giving praise to the man.

This happened in Brockton, MA, on Thursday. A Facebook user Ryan Jones was driving down Main Street when he saw the barber giving a man in a wheelchair a haircut outside right on the sidewalk.

Jones said the barber was ‘amazing’ to go out of his way to make sure the client was taken care of.

“You don’t see stuff like this every day so I figured I would put this out there,” Jones said in his post. “Like I said this may not seem like a big deal to most people but I’m sure it made that man’s day.”

He hoped that putting this kind gesture on Facebook will help show the barber that his good deed didn’t go unnoticed.

When we reached out to Ryan, he told us he couldn’t believe how far this story had gone.

“This is just so amazing I can’t believe how far the story is reaching and I hope the people see this and feel compelled to do something nice for someone else,” he said. “Thank you so so much!” provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
