Road to the Heart Walk: Would-be Santa finds himself as a Tampa General patient

You need to hear this heart attack survivor’s story.

Delwyn Collins works as a dishwasher at Tampa General Hospital. Christmas is the most wonderful time of year for the kids on Collins’ Christmas list because he makes sure foster children throughout the Tampa Bay area have a merry holiday. He’s spent years taking care of these children.

But Collins’ routine came to a screeching halt a few weeks ago. This would-be Santa found himself as a patient at Tampa General, rather than an employee.

Watch Stacie Stacie Schaible’s interview with Collins to hear the story. Learn more about the Heart Walk here.
