(WCBD) — On Tuesday, September 6, Dairy Queen is offering free Ultimate Oreo Frappés between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at participating locations.
In a nod to specialty coffee servers, they’ll be served by DQ-ristas, Dairy Queen’s version of a barista. The Berkshire Hathaway company is marking the unofficial end of summer with the offer. On Labor Day, the fast food chain surprised many of those who still worked, including first responders with an Ultimate Oreo Frappe in advance of Free Frappe Day.
The Ultimate Oreo Frappé is a combination of coffee, ice and crunchy Oreo cookie pieces blended with creamy DQ signature vanilla soft serve and crowned with whipped topping and Oreo cookie pieces to create the perfect treat and afternoon pick-me-up. #DQFreeFrappe. The Ultimate Oreo Frappé is one of several beverages served during DQ’s “Hardest Working Happy Hour” available weekdays from 2 to 5 p.m.
